We are currently accepting applications for a Sr. Buyer for our manufacturing facility in Santa Barbara.

Job Description:

The Sr. Buyer is responsible for non-standard parts purchase orders and supporting all departments in their procurement needs. We require someone with 3-5 years experience who :

*Is experienced in sourcing for custom fabricated raw-materials.

*Can look for and find new vendors to fit our needs.

*Can bid on and negotiate new and existing contracts to ensure we receive the best possible pricing.

*Is comfortable asking vendors for discounts on materials.

*Is able to control raw material inventory.

*Has worked and can work with offshore vendors.

*Although not required, experience with apparel is a big plus.

*Experience in a Manufacturing environment is highly desired.

Required Skills:

*A strong verbal and written communicator.

*Organized and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects.

*Excellent analytical skills.

*A self-starter with a "get it done" attitude.

*A person with strong leadership skills.

*Can work effectively with vendors and build strong relationships with them.

*A very strong negotiator.
